Many social determinants of health including poverty, physical environment, and race or ethnicity

can have a considerable effect on COVID 19 outcomes.

E.Often people in poverty have limited access to health care, must work when they are sick, and face more

stress, which can impact immunity and increase susceptibility to infection and death.

By remaining intentional about decreasing unconscious biases and seeing past medications to the individual

to identify potential barriers, pharmacists can bolster the movement toward health equity.
