While pharmacists are well-suited to perform the aforementioned tasks, in a disaster response it is

Some professional societies, such as the American Thoracic Society and American Heart Association,
recommend training of clinicians to facilitate patient screening for SDoH; however, formal curricula
and potential interventions to address these gaps, as well as to identify other population differences
ICU recovery clinics are in an excellent position to pave the way towards addressing SDoH by engaging
with patients and caregivers about the challenges they face in post-ICU care
